Your Coaches
Alan Rose - Director, Coach
A member of the NZPGA, current head professional at Wānaka Golf Club, and an Otago and Wellington representative. Alan has been a passionate golfer for 30 years. With his background including coaching two New Zealand Amateur Champions, as well as numerous New Zealand representatives, Alan is an expert at applying intensive training and skill development programs in order to get results.
Initially the founder of Sharpies Golf in Dunedin, Alan Rose blended his advanced retail experience with his interest of golf coaching and hosting tours and began AR Golf in Wānaka – a full-service golf experience based out of Wānaka Golf Course.
Kyle Clark - Junior Coach
Kyle joined our Team as a Trainee Pro in January 2021, having previously worked in the Pro shop at Cromwell. He started golf at the age of 13 at Tokomairiro Golf Club in Milton and attended Boarding school in Dunedin, playing golf most days after school, enabling him to reduce his handicap to 2, by the time he left school. He was selected for the Otago Junior and Mens teams during his competitive playing time.
Since joining the Wanaka Golf Shop, Kyle has developed an excellent Junior programme with up to 40 juniors taking part during Term times. Kyle is very popular with the Juniors, has taken Coaching clinics and is available for one on one coaching.
