In a fitting with AR Golf, we will typically have a brief conversation before getting into the technical to get to know you as a player, past injuries, and sporting history. Following this, you will get in front of the launch monitor, and we will carefully guide you through the options to find the golfing equipment that is right for you.
Thorough but fun, we will receive key measurements and track and interpret data to help guide you towards your best performance.

Fittings are important for any golfer to do, to ensure your clubs work for you and the way you play. From being a beginner to an advanced player, a fitting will help ensure that your clubs are correct to the way you swing, the speed you swing at, your body type, and how the club hits the ground.

Fittings take approximately 90 minutes and are completed at the AR Golf Pro-Shop, located at Wanaka Golf Course.

No, you are not required to purchase the clubs fitted to you after, however we do offer a discount if you choose to do so.

Regular golfers should get fitted approximately every 5 years, however if you are frequently playing with Wedges & Forged Irons, we suggest you bring these in every 2 years due to the extra wear and tear on these types of clubs.
